Kinda confused here
Extra Magic Hours are only for resort guests? So if I'm looking at the calendar for May 06 on the Disney website, it says that Wishes starts at 10pm, but only on nights with "extra magic hours" :confused3

So when does Wishes play on a regular night? Does this mean non disney resort guests don't get to see Wishes? :sad2:

Please set me straight. Thanks! :)

Everybody gets to see Wishes. If it shows at 10:00 that's probably the time the rides close for people without the EMH. So they'd be doing the show just as the park is closing. And Disney doesn't really kick people out who don't have the EMH passes anyway, you just can't go on the rides. Don't worry, you'll definately get to see it!

Actually, you show your resort ID (they scan them, don't they?) and they give you a bracelet to wear. I have read at least one post on this board that says they "gently usher" non-braceleted people out of the parks.

They do give you bracelets. I've never seen anybody without a bracelet told to leave, but maybe they've become more strict since I've been last. I'm sure they wouldn't kick you out before the end of Wishes.

Don't believe it for a minute,
This simply does NOT happen.
(How would it be possible to "gently usher" out large diverse groups and individuals... all mixed-in with folks who do have the bands?)

In fact, in cooler weather, unless you are actually walking into a ride queue and need to SHOW the band, nobody can tell if you have a wrist-band or not (due to wearing long-sleeves).

If you don't have a wrist-band Disney doesn't care if you are there or not (just not allowed to ride the attractions).
You can still shop, stroll and relax... but still, most folks without a wrist-band leave on their own within an hour of regular park closing, anyway.
