Do you have to purchase a separate ticket to stay in the park at night for the extra magic hours????? LIke E night????

thanks

No, EMH is like the old early entry in that you just need to show a resort ID. It is like E-nights in that you will need a wristband. But no extra charge!

thanks............it states the parks will be open up to 3 hrs at night...............when can I find out the time it is open until? or do I just have to wait until I check in??

thanks again,

The park will be open three hours past the closing time. So you just need to wait until the hours are posted for the days you are going to figure it out!

I read on another post somewhere that they weren't even checking for resort I.D. which I think stinks. It's supposed to be a perk for Disney Resort guests. I hope that they are checking so it won't be so crowded.

Thanks..............I will post if they check whether or not your a resort guest when we go in 2 weeks!!! WE have always done E nights but am now excited we don't have to pay the extra few dollars for it!!!

Heres a link to the info on the Dis. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/earlyentry.htm#hm-earlyentry-quicklink It give the dates EMH is happening at each park and whethers its morning or night. This isnt easy anymore. ;)
Hope that helps.

BTW, in case you havent heard we are having a Boston Dis meet April 30. Check out the Meets Board if you are interested. :cool1:

Edited to add...I just realized thats not what you were asking about finding out at check in. Sorry, I cant read this morning. Well maybe the link will help someone else. ;)

We were just there and they were definately checking resort ID's for the EMH

In order to take advantage of the night EMH, you need to pick up a wristband (like a hospital band) at one of several locations within the park. They start handing them out 2 hours before the park closes, and continue into the night. There are multiple locations per park--if one isn't clearly evident, ask a CM.

To get a wristband, each guest must present a valid WDW resort key. Keys now list the individual name of each guest and the dates of the stay.

In order to visit an attraction after the posted park closing time, the wristband must be shown to a CM while waiting in line. CMs do check for the bands and will not allow guests to ride without them.

So, don't forget the room keys for everyone in your party. And keep your eyes open for the wristband stations later in the evening.

I am glad that you made thatpost regarding the cards and the individuals names on them, when I went last year with my mom both of our cards had my name on them because I made the reservations, this year I am going with my BF and I was hoping that he would have on with his name on it (I didn't think he would want a nametag that said Jennifer on it :))
