Extra magic hours question

Okay I hope I can explain this well e ought to get an answer.

When I go to Wdw the magic kingdom has extra mh from 1 am to 3 am and the the park opens At 7 am for emh...
Can I go in to the park at 1 am for a few hours and then return at 7 ish as the same day ??? Meaning only using one day on my pass ?

No. You need to have valid admission that will cover both days. For park admission purposes it does not become a "new day" at midnight - it starts when the park reopens to guests.

No, even though you were only in the park on one day technically, it would still use two days' worth of admission. The way to think about it is when you enter a park, you use an entitlement on the day that the park opened on...even if the park's opening hours extend past midnight and even if you enter after midnight on what would be the next day. Or you could think about it in the reverse: if you stay in the MK past midnight you don't use up two days on your ticket even though you were technically in the park on two different days.

For payroll and some other purposes Disney uses a 36 hour clock. This is important for people who work overnight shifts.

So on a day when the Park opens at 7:00am and closes at 1:00am the following day, plus a two hour EMH, it actually works this way:

Open - 07:00
Regular close - 25:00
EMH close - 27:00

And some positions will have people at an attraction working until 5:00, which is when people for the next day are coming in to work. So for the people leaving it is 29:00 the prior day but for the new people it is 05:00 for the new day.
