hi all
not sure if anyone had seen this or not, so thought id pass on the info. i was assuming that the extra magic hours would be right through until amrch, when everything else is 'supposed' to finish, but then suddenly paniced that maybe these would change them - AND they have!!

http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/extra-magic-hours.xhtml

basically - if ur going up til oct 31st, they are on daily, but if ur going in november, they are only on fridays, saturdays, sundays & monday mornings - no other days. then, in december they are back on every morning.

hope thats not bad news for anyone??

My heart sank for a moment then - we go 13-16 Nov, but as that is a Thurs through to Sunday, we'll get EMH on all 3 of our mornings in the Park. Result!

Thanks for posting this, I had been wondering about it.

That's the same EMH as they did last year. Maybe the weekdays are quieter in November, so the EMH isn't as necessary, the weekends on the other hand from personal experience - absolute bedlam, never again !:headache:

Aww that sucks!

im there monday - sat in nov.. i suppose 2 days with emh is still something to be happy about! :cheer2:

This is good news for me - we're there for Halloween Half Term.

Do they ever have EMH at DS or is it just DLP?

We're going on the Monday 17th Nov for 4 days, so it means that we don't have to rush for breakfast now

No, you'll just have the scrum for breakfast instead :lmao: !

I always feel that if EMH is on while we're there, we have to go and make the most of it. But I do sometimes enjoy the longer lie and more coming-to-myself time in the mornings when EMH isn't on.

Ahhh phew, I had a panic moment there too lol !! We're going in Dec, so it's great that it'll still be on then.:thumbsup2

brilliant!

we are going in October for our first ever trip to DLRP, I am so excited!

Thats brilliant news, we are going October half term week too and we were hoping for EMH as they were so useful to us in April. Now I guess we just hve to wait to see what the park closing times will be so I can figure when to make dining reservations.

phew I'm relieved, we go in October so we'll still benefit

I have smiled at some of the comments, my hubby complains when we go to Disney it's like Disney Boot Camp as I try to make sure we grab as much time as we can in the park and I do try to avoid the breakfast scrum ;)

:lmao: True - its hardly a relaxing get-away-from-it-all type of break is it?? But its great, exhausting, fun!

Elaine

Great news for me too, thanks for posting that :goodvibes

That's great news, I'm going at the beginning of October so I'll get EMH every day - yeah!

Just a quick question - how busy does the Park get during these 2 extra hours? It is still worth being there the moment it opens if I want to do Dumbo, Peter Pan and the Carousel? And are all rides open for EMH or just certain ones?

Thanks.

We turned up for EMH at about 8.30 and were leaving the park at 9.20am to go and queue for crush's coaster!!

The rides we had open were Peter Pan, Dumbo, teacups, carousel, SM2 and Buzz Light Year. We managed to do everything twice before leaving the park.

EMH does get busier after about 9am, so if you can get in for 8.30 or before, you'll be able to do all the EMH rides with no queues, and 2 or 3 times over. We did Peter Pans flight 3 times in a row (and could have done a few more) first thing EMH one morning.

I think it's worth it because the queues are immeasurably (?sp) smaller.

It's only certain rides in Fantasyland and Discoverland that are open on EMH....
