Hi,

I'm trying to set up a chart (yes, I'm crazy) with what parks are open, which days.
I printed the May05 chart and it has the morning EMH in orange and the evening EMH inGreen...but when I look at times it says the same as the other days
For instance on Monday 5/16, Epcot hours are in orange, but say 9:00 - 7:00 (which is the same hours on other days that are colored orange.

Does that mean I need to note that on 5/16 Epcot actually opens at 8:00????
and the same for the extra hours in the evening? add 3 hours to the 7:00? or the 5:00 in the case of AK?

I'm SOOOOOO confused!!!!

:scratchin

Yes, you are correct. The park will be open one hour earlier than the stated open time for EMH. And, the park will close 3 hours after the stated closing time.

The posted park hours are for ALL guests. If Disney posted an 8am opening for EPCOT on EMH morning there would be even more confusion from off-site guests who are told they cannot enter until 9am.

For morning EMH, add an hour (usually 8am opening) to the posted hours. For nighttime EMH, add three hours to the posted closing time.

Note that these perks are available only to guests staying at Walt Disney World resorts. Presentation of a valid Key To The World card (hotel room key) is required for ALL participants--don't just bring one card and think it will work for the entire family. For the nighttime EMH, you will need to pick up a wristband for each member of your party beginning roughly 2 hours before the posted closing time. Again, you'll present your room key to get the wristband. Guests without wristbands will not be permitted to ride after the posted day-guest closing time.

We have to get the wrist bands 2 hours before the normal park closing? If I'm at Epcot in the World Showcase and it closes at 9:00 then I can't go to MGM Studios for the EMH? MGM Studios normal closing would be at 9:00 so, If I stayed for Illuminations then I wouldn't be able to get into MGM Studios on an EMH. Right? Oh, no there went my plans.:sad2:

As long as you have the park hopper option, you can spend the day at MK and go to MGM for EMH, or whatever combo works for you that day. You can get the wristband *starting* at 2 hours before park closing.

If someone who has been recently can speak up, I'd appreciate it. I have been assuming that I could get the wristband any time after that 2-hour-prior-to-closing time, meaning I could show up after the park closes to the general public and still get in. If that's wrong, I'd prefer to now ahead of time. :-)

just to add to the confusion, so does mean that for 5/31 the Animal Kingdom closes at 8, but EMH make it close at11pm? Is the park a good idea to go to that late for animals and what not? Should we aim to do that park in the afternoon and ride the Killamanjaro (sp?) Safari's so we can see the animals??

I'm trying to make a spreadsheet as well,so I know your pain!
