Ok, just called GF and inquired about EMH for 05-CM, checked her computer after thinking no info would be available and low and beyhold 05 EMH info appeared-dont know about 100% reliability but she told me effectine 1/2/05 the EMH's would be: Sun-MGM(3 extra evening hours);Mon-Epcot(1 hr early entry);Tue-MGM(1 hr early entry) and AK(3 extra evening hours);Wed-MK(3 extra evening hours);Thurs.-EPCOT(3 extra evening hours); Fri.-MK(1 hr early entry);Sat.-AK(1 hr early entry); further, she expects Feb. park hours Monday(parades, etc.);let the planning(and/or)re-planning begin!

Thanks for posting! I'll trust this for now, since we have nothing else to go on. YIKES!!! My PS window is about to open, too.

Thanks for the post. Looks like I'll have to rearrange our schedule a bit.

Well, whaddayaknow... I just called 1-407-wdisney and of course the CM there said... HUH? We don't have any info on that yet. Where did you hear that from?

Thanks for posting it btw, I just hope it's correct.

Good point.Again, I called GF. The operator/cm who answered checked her computer and gave me the info I posted. Who knows, if its accurate until WDW puts it out officially.

AK wouldn't have extra evening hours.

Why not? They did it back in May when they tested it.

Hmmm I guess they did. What was open though? The animals have to be taken care of. So I guess the Safari and walkthroughs would of course be closed. So that leaves ITBAB, Dinosaur, KRR, and Dinoland USA...right? Hmmm strange AK without the A. lol

So if there are 3 extra hours in Epcot on Thursday nights, I wonder if that means FW will be open 3 extra hours (i.e., 10 instead of 7) or whether it means the whole park will be open till midnight (rather than 9)....? Anyone who was there for the May test know?

Excellent info, Mark. Thanks very much. Helps all of us who love to plan. Now I need to sharpen that pencil and get to work!

Even if it changes before our trip, I'll have fun planning!

I was at Epcot last May during the test. They distributed wristbands throughout the park. World Showcase closed at normal time; some (but not all) attractions in Futureworld remained open, if I remember correctly.

Aack!! There goes my schedule  But in the end I am happy about the parks being open late, that just works better for us because of the time change. Living on the west coast, getting up at 5am-6am Florida time to get ready for early entry, is like getting up at 2am-3am for us, so staying up late just works better for us. Which is why we have always enjoyed E-nights and rarely do early entry.

The other good thing is we have 190 days until our trip so that gives me 100 days to figure out another schedule and get ready to call for our PSs. I just thought I had it all figured out :earboy2: Oh well.

Thanks Mark, interesting, I checked this schedule times against what was tested in May and the only thing that is the same are the two Magic Kingdom dates/times. Everything else is different

I'm venting expletives now as, if this is true, it messes up all my priority seatings for February.

I think this list looks like it could be true. Each park has one morning and one evening with extra magic hours. Wednesdays and Fridays are the lightest days of the week at MK, and those are the days with extra hours added. The same looks true for MGM, though I'm not sure about AK and Epcot.

Thanks!!

This actually doesn't mess anything up for me, but I don't get any huge benefit from it, either! We will probably hop to Epcot after AK closes on Thursday, so that part is kind of nice. Not sure what we will do about MK on Wed night. They will close at what? 11 PM? Decisions, decisions...

Great news!!!

For those who were ther in May, when was IllumiNations when Epcot was open late? 9:00 or later?

AK was open until 8pm 2 times last week. Kilimanjaro Safaris last jeep departed at 4:30 (as it's been doing since the end of Daylight Savings Time), and Pangani Forest Exploration Trail and the Maharaja Jungle Trek both closed at 5pm. So yes, some things closed earlier, but there was still plenty to do in the park, espicially since they added later showings of Tarzan and Festival of the Lion King.

Wow, that really whacks my plans. I was avoiding EE but now if I stick to plan almost ALL my days are on EE....AK on Saturday used to be my favorite but now it is EE  what to do what to do
