First off I must thanks everybody for all of the great information that i've gotten from these boards over the past few weeks. We'll be going to WDW Nov 30-Dec 6. You've already answered so many of my questions but I'm still wondering if the Magic Hours (post and pre) are a good idea or not. We're staying at Pop. I've been on touringplans dot com but it doesn't really say one way or the other. We will be there in the off season so I would guess the Magic extra hours would be the way to go but it could also have the opposite effect of what we would like. I was wondering if you all have any input on the subject. Thanks again.

we haven't been since they added the night but we always go to the morning for at least one day per park if possible. it is never crowded but we can ride something like rnr or tot afew times then not have to deal with it later when the waits are 15 mins( we go off season, las t 2 trip in Jan) i haven't really noticed a big difference in park crowds for that park later in the day so we rarely change parks and never cause of that. someone posted mk was really busy for the post emh but i might still go since i like the parks at night and unless there are longer hrs you don't really get to ride much after dark in winter. only park that might not be worth it for early emh was Ak as only safari and ttbab were open and while we did go on both of those i don't know that the wait would have been longer as we also walked right on safari just before parade time too which was great cause that is the beginning of the route and saw the whole thing right when we got off.

I noticed that in the morning the parks that did not have early entry were not that busy anyway. Most people on vacation seem to have a hard time getting up and to the parks at opening. I have only been to WDW in the summer/spring, so I am wondering if it makes a difference in the winter. I can't wait to see if there really is fewer people there!

We went to two pm EMHs at MK, one at Epcot, and one at AK. All worked out great except for one time at MK which was quite crowded. Then again, this was during the summer. However, going when there's decreased hours could cause the pm EMHs to be more crowded. My suggestion, try one at MK - if it's too crowded, don't plan on going to it at MK again. However, the ones at Epcot and AK weren't even close to being as crowded as the MK ones we did. So, you might want to try them regardless.

Realize that you won't be able to get EVERYTHING done during these EMHs. There are still lines, but mostly they are minimal. At MK, even on the night we found to be crowded, there were hardly any lines for Adventureland/Fantasyland rides - just lines for the big mountains.

I've been reading the boards religiously since we planned our trip, about 6 weeks ago. From what I can tell that during the busy times (summer) PM EMHs were unbelievably busy. The word was stay away at all costs. Since the third week in August when crowd levels went down (hurricane, school, etc) it sounds like it was much more manageable and beneficial. I still plan to attend MK for our EMH night in October.

We have always loved the EMH in the morning. The evenings are not good during the summer or other busy times. They weren't bad in January 05.

We were there the end of august and we only used one emh morning. This was at epcot and it worked out very well. For all the other days we would go to whichever park had the emh evenings the night before. This worked out flawlesly. Small crowds with little waits.

Thanks for all the feedback. It is appreciated. I never realized all the planning involved. We're really looking forward to it. If anybody else has an opinion or experience i"d love to hear it.

I haven't been to any EMH yet... last time I was in Disney they still have the e-ticket. (2003) But, I probably will prefer the e-ticket over EMH. At least w/ the e-ticket you have to pay an extra $13 or $14 to get in. Which meant some people wouldn't wanna pay the x-tra money. I WOULD! So the parks at night during e-ticket were proabbly less crowed. We'll see in 26 days! woohooooo
