Tell me about the evening extra hours. How long are ride lines? Is this worth it or are you better off at Epcot or MK? Would it be more efficient to do rope drop or use fp then hop? We will be on west coast time so staying til 9 won't feel late. Thanks!

Consider that virtually every member of a guest party that does not have very young children will be standing in line for
R'n'RC, ToT and TSM.

And, any PM EMH that takes place before 11PM, or so, will find MANY guests still awake and active.

Thanks. Sounds like you'd only get one or two rides in, will plan without it!

We did it in August 2015. DHS was open until 11:30 pm (with EMH) that night. We got tons done. We got into the park around 5 and did our FP+ which were TSM, ToT and I forget which other ride. We ate at Rosie's. We then did the Frozen dance party and watched the Frozen fireworks. We went and watched the 10 pm Fantasmic! and then went straight to TSM when it was over. The estimated wait was 20 minutes but it was really about 5 minutes. We did RnRc once or twice and then did ToT a few more times. We were the last ride of the night on ToT. The CM's were very into character. It was the best night of our trip.

We were also there that morning at RD and did a lot of rides. We left by 1030 and went to Epcot for lunch and then to the resort for a break before heading back to DHS for the PM EMH.

I believe we rode TSM 3 times this day. RnRC and ToT probably about 5 times each.

When we have done DHS evening EMH in the past, we have always found long lines at TSM and RNRC. We used to do it just for the great Disney Jr. dance party which they have now gotten rid of. EMH evening hours can be very useful at EPCOT if you want to meet Joy and Sadness. We got a tip that their lines are much shorter then. Their line can get up to an hour or more pretty quick after rope drop in the mornings and stays long most of the day. We waited a while after EMH started to let the people that got in line before park closing make their way through, and then we only waited around 15 minutes or so for them.

We did it both times. The first year DS3 and I did the Disney Jr Dance Party while DH rode all the fast rides (in single rider where possible). This last time, we did the first F! then the Star Wars fireworks and then EMH started. DS and DH rode RnRR in under 20 minutes then we did Star Tours and then TSMM and left early. Since there was a second F! and EMH went till 11:30, it was a pretty successful evening. If there isn't a second F! and/or EMH's end earlier, as everyone has said, it will be more crowded. Also, try to avoid eating on Sunset before the first F!. It took an hour to get food. SUPER PAINFUL.
