Extra Magic Hours are awesome!!

MK has been open till midnight all week and till 3am with the EMH. We were able to do the whole park during that time. It was empty. 5 min waits on everything, it really was worth it. I never knew MK stayed open that late. Buses ran until 4:30am.

We arrived at 10:45pm. Walked in and Spectro Magic was going on. We walked to Tomorrowland and rode Stitch (5 min wait) and then walked over to SM and got our wristbands. Have your room key for each member in your party. At midnight, they told everyone in line at SM to get out. Without a wristband, the park cleared out pretty quick.

Tonight, AK is open until 11pm. Plan on riding E:E many times!!

I'm glad you posted this. Most people say EEMHs are really busy and packed and stuff.

Course then again your's was til 3 am, so that might make a difference. LOL

Did one EEMH and hated it...it was really busy and packed and stuff. Granted, we couldn't quite last until 1am, but from closing to 10:30 or so it was more crowded than during the day.

We avoid them like the plague.

Buzz 2001, you said "have your room key for each member of your party". Does that mean you have to have a room key for children or just each adult in the party? Do they swipe your room key or just need to see it to confirm you are Disney resort guest? Thanks for the help...

me and my family went in August and it was more crowded than in the day, the wait was 210 minutes for space mountain! we got one ride in because we got there early,

They actually swipe your card in a little gizmo that confirms you are staying in the resorts and all. About children, I'm not so sure - I did hear one woman explaining that she needed 3 more bands for her kids because she didn't want them to have their own room keys, and I'm pretty sure they gave her kids wristbands, too. I never got the impression that anyone had difficulty getting their bands...

Curious about Epcot--please let us know if you tried EMH there when you get a chance.

We'll be at WDW next week, and I hope EMH is better than it was last time we were there--we experienced longer lines than during the day!
