Extra Magic Hours and Breakfast

We plan on making use of EMHs at AK, MK and MGM. We can't decide if we should get up really early and try to have breakfast in the parks first or have a snack at the resort, tour the park for the first few hours and then take the latest seatings for the breakfasts or early lunches at places like CP and Sci Fi.

I would have a snack and then have breakfast or an early lunch at the parks-when we went we ate breakfast (snack type stuff) and then took along a granola bar or two to tide us over until lunch. Then we would buy lunch in the parks.

I agree. To get up and eat a real breakfast before getting to the parks before 8:00 will be tough. I would have a quick bite in your room or as you are on your way to the park. Get a PS for 10 or 11:00 and have a big meal then.

I vote for a cereal bar and coffee at your resort before hitting the parks early then stopping for either a late breakfast or early lunch ps at the park. This way you don't loose out on that Extra magic hour.

I would just like to note that if you will be going to any of the parks on non-EMH days it is not a bad idea to get a breakfast ps for early-as-possible inside the park. They check you in before the turnstyles and let you enter. This way you eat and are already inside the park when it opens to regular guests. At that time you are already somewhere inside the park and have a bit of a head start. I don't know of anywhere inside MGM but in MK Cinderella's Royal Table or Crystal Palace have early times available but you must call exactly 90 days prior at exactly 7:00am. At Epcot you can get the Princess Storybook Breakfast way before WS opens. AK you get get Donald's Breakfastaurus Same story as above for ps's.

When we do EE at MK we usually go right there, knock out Fantasy Land, then eat at the bake shop.
For EE at AK we usually eat at the Food Court(or on this last trip, Tubbies since we were at the Swan), before leaving.
