Extra Magic Hour?

We will be at Disneyland Sunday afternoon through Wednesday night. We will have 4 day park hoppers, so we will have one Disneyland Magic Morning. Tuesday morning will be the only opportunity to use it. The problem is, that leaves Monday and Wednesday as days to go to California Adventure at park opening. Both of those are EMH days at California Adventure. Does that really affect the early morning crowds? I expect it does.
Should we skip the Magic Morning at Disneyland and go to California Adventure on Tuesday? The opening times for mid March are not on the schedule yet, but the same week last year the park opened at 9 am.

I say definitely use your Magic Morning, and maximize fastpass all other times. Magic morning is amazing. Make sure you know in advance what lands/rides are open for Magic Morning and make a plan.

California adventure does not get the amount of people for EMH as DL does for MM. Only those at the 3 DL hotels can get in during EMH at CA. Just be at the gate 30-45 min before opening (or an hour like we do)

Yes, I think EMH impacts crowds in DCA at opening, but primarily at RSR and TSMM (although, I don't know how Frozen Fun is impacted). For RSR, you can pull a FP (which they don't start handing out until the park opens to everyone) to help reduce your wait time. There are no FPs for TSMM, so you will just have to wait in line for that one.

In terms of DL's MM, whether it's worth it or not, really depends on whether you want to do the rides that are available. Only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are open. I would cautiously say that MM is worth going to if you have attractions in those lands that you want to do. I think you stand a good chance of getting in a fair number of rides (if you won't get stuck in line for Peter Pan) in the hour that you have (assuming that you get there in time for the opening of MM/EMH).
