3 totally free days is more then the average person working 5 days a week has. Quite impressive you are putting so much dedication towards paying for this trip and keeping up school. It's just showing you, in life as long as you work hard you could have anything you want. Way to go! Your 3 week trip sounds amazing!

I did something similar to this (but on an even crazier schedule - working 50 hours a week on day, swing and grave shifts) while I was in graduate school full-time and maintained a 3.7ish (I know it was above 3.7, but I'd have to go look to say more) average the whole time. After a while, I could sleep anywhere, anytime for exactly the length of time I wanted, then wake up and get back into things. People are still amazed I have no alarm clock, but it's just something I taught myself to do in grad school when I was sleeping in my car for 2 and 3 hour stretches between classes and work.

I have a 3.5 gpa and my grades are right where they were before the job and it's been two months so I know it's not impacting my grades at all. I still have time for my friends and social activities since there are three days I don't actually work. I've been used to this schedule before when I worked in the military! But I appreciate the concerns and well wishes!

Thanks for everyone for the concerns and well wishes! Really means a lot because a lot of people here at school think I'm crazy haha. During orientation I asked to put my entire paycheck into savings and the personnel lady said it wasn't normal for that to happen. And my only reply was "Disney takes priority!"

A good work ethic will get you far, but you also need to learn balance early on.

I think it's great you're doing this. I've known tons of people going to school and working full time. With three days off a week, you should be fine.

School and Work is a lot of hard work. i did a year of it, full time school, full time work, part time work.
