Extra hours ticketed events - how many parks would you pay for?

We are going to the Halloween party, so there's one we would pay for at Magic Kingdom. If the party wasn't happening, I would have paid for the after dark extra hours, but not the morning extra hours.

I would not pay for extra hours at DHS. Epcot - would only pay at night and all rides would have to be available.

But I would beg, borrow and steal to get an after park close couple of hours in Pandora - if it's really crowded I will go against the crowd and hope they offer something in October. I would gladly pay for it! :duck:

I would pay for the "after hours" at least once in each park. HS after the new lands open of course. We did the Mk after hours in March this year and it was nice. We have been there at very uncrowded, late nights before so it reminded me of that. I would not do the am at MK, nor would it be a repeat type thing for my family. We do the parties as well and I think those are even better than the after hours.

Aside from one Christmas party, none. My response might change if I was limited to busier times of the year, but since I'm not that is where I draw the line.....and depending on how much tickets are this year, I may skip that as well.

Oh yes, crowds definitely would play a factor. Unfortunately we are going in October which everyone is saying is packed! And throw in all the party nights at MK, Animal Kingdom is going to be packed on an MK party night.

Which is why I would pay for ticketed event to experience Pandora at night w/out crazy crowds. Feeding the beast...:rotfl:

I gladly pay for the Halloween and Christmas Parties as they are my favorite Disney events and I'd pay for a villains type of event at Hollywood Studios but without food involved.

Have paid for MNSSHP, MVMCP, EMM DHS, EMM MK, MK After Hours, Club Villain and Unleash the Villains.

Holiday parties are fun, we used to do 2 Halloween each year (for about decade) and Christmas just a few times. Loved the DHS EMM and disappointed in the MK EMM. Loved the After Hours (discounted rate) and LOVE LOVE Club Villain. Unleash the Villains was a total cluster and DHS has no idea how to run a party that large or creatively (sadly). Got my money back.

I think the EMM were just getting fine-tuned to be able to add to parks as new lands open and demand is there to sell them.

I did EMM at HS and loved it. If they offered a After Hours event that included all the rides like the MK one, I would love it! There may be less attractions at HS, but IMO they have 3 of the best, RNRC, TOT and TSMM. I'd love to ride those over and over.

Personally, I would never pay for those events. Regular tickets are expensive enough, and I've been there many times already. I'd rather apply the cost to another trip.

I have to agree with this. Disney charges enough for their tickets and I feel it is an insult to keep adding more things as extra. But the more people that keep paying extra the more Disney will keep doing these add ons. I remember when park hoppers were included in the price of admissions. However, I have no problem with them doing the Halloween or Christmas parties.

I would pay for MK and EP, but I'm not sure about the others! It would depend on how much I become obsessed with the new lands

I've done MNMCP, MNSSHP & EMM at MK. I'd love to do after hours but with little kids that's not feasible. I'm going in November and plan to do MVMCP and 2 days of MK EMM if available. I would absolutely do EMM in Epcot & AK if offered.

We did EMM at HS and loved it so much! But it was just my son and I, more than 2 people would be too rich for my blood. Same with every other event....if it was just two of us I could MAYBE see paying for a party. Beyond that, no.

We are night people, so we would (and have) pay for any event that is offered during our trip. We have done countless halloween and christmas parties. We did the villans before you had to pay for it and got into After Hours free because we are DVC. Our upcoming fall trip has 5 parties during our week. We plan on going to 4 of them. We would go to all 5, but I think our two year old twins will need an early night mid trip. lol

We loved EMM at HS last year!. I was so disappointed that it is not offered again this year.

I would pay for HS as it was with just TSMM, Star Tours and the characters. TOT & RNRC would be awesome

I would not pay for MK as it currently stands, since I don't need to ride the rides offered multiple times. If they added characters to it, maybe.

I would pay for A. Pandora area. Yes. I would even pay for an Everest, Kali, & Baloo/King Louie one.

Epcot...it depends on what was offered. Everything is too far apart, I can't see how it would be worth it.

I would pay serious money for a character fest. My DD and I would LOVE it!

I could sort of it see doing it if I were coming a great distance, and WDW was a once or twice in a lifetime trip. But that doesn't apply in my case.

The parties are somewhat different in that they are offering a few different experiences than you get with normal admission. But those frequency of those irk me. IMO, they should be held no more than three times per week and not the four times we ran into last October.
