We plan on staying on site so will make use of the extra opening hours but I've always wondered what happens to the visitors staying off site - how to they get them out of the park and exactly how much of the park is open extra hours, is it everything or just a few rides? :scratchin

The off site guests are left to make their own way out, in their own time. The CM's are VERY strict about only letting onsite guests wearing the appropriate armbands onto the rides. There are only certain rides open - about a dozen at MK eg.

Personally, I think the EMH in the morning much more beneficial than the one at night even though that is longer. Fewer people seem prepared to get up early and be there before 7.30-8 but we're always up early so it's not a problem for us.

it depends when you're going as to whether it's worthwhile...

during July, the evening extra magic hours are so crowded that it's not only not worthwhile to go, you should avoid that park all day as it will be more crowded the entire day.....

however, we found that in September the evening extra magic hours were very worthwhile....

so it depends when you'll be there...

I hope you're right Beth, we didn't use EMH at all last year, big disappointment as it was our first time on site. So we plan to do it this year hopefully september will stay quiet
