We are a large group planning on a trip next August 14-25. If you were there at that time this past August, can you tell me how crowded it was during the extra evening hours at any of the parks? Was it worth going? Should I plan to go to the parks that have it, or stay far, far away?

We found them to be crowded (we were there 8/21 - 8/29). We only did MGM and AK. Most people stay, and those folks who didn't buy the park hopper options come to spend the whole day at the EMH park.

We love our early morning EMH's. We always get a lot done!

About 7 or 8 o'clock we would arrive at the park that had the evening hours.
It was more crowded that the early entry hour. It feels so nice to walk around without that excessive heat from the sun.
We stayed in each park until midnight or closing. The longest wait was an 1 hour wait for "Soarin" at 11:00 p.m. We walked off the ride at 11:55 and hardly anybody was left in the park. It felt strange walking through on our way to the Yacht Club with the lights dimmed, shops closed.

We loved the evening hours, I wish they had done it earlier. My kids never got up for the morning early entry so this was perfect.
One day Typoon Laggon had a trial late day 6:00- 9:00 p.m., but we didn't try it. Maybe next year.

We were there the same days! :flower: I Hope you you a great time. It was so depressing to leave!

We were there from 8/10-8/24 and did every EMH night. We found that early in the event it was crowded, but later it wasn't that bad. We stayed till the bitter end on all the nights and normally were one of the last ones on rides. We alyways did E-nights and loved them. These are more crowded than an average E-night (Fridays we always seemed to find crowded), but then again you are not paying and can come and go as you wish. This, IMHO, is the real beauty in EMH nights.

Have Fun!!
