I was just told by someone they had to buy separate admission to get into cars land? is that true? They haven't gone yet but were sold tickets yesterday before they are to leave...I haven't heard anything about this if its true??

Cars land is included with your admission to California adventure park, it is not its own ticketed land. California adventure is a separate park from Disneyland. You can get park hopper tickets so you can enjoy both parks in one day.

Ok thats what i thought, i have been to disney alot and thought that sounded odd, I wonder what he bought then?? lol , hes a good friend of ours so ill have to find out

There is not a separate fee for cars land, it is included in the price of your park ticket

Eeeek! Hope he's just confused and didn't fall for some type of scam!

Me too, im thinking hes getting park hopper mixed up with cars land, he bought it from a travel agent so that must be it, i just got worried cause we are going and I don't want to have to buy another set of tickets..lol...

I'm willing to bet he meant something like, "Are you aware that Carsland is not in Disneyland, it's in a separate park, and your admission to Disneyland won't let you into Carsland?" As in, if you buy a single, non-park-hopper ticket, and use it for Disneyland, then you wouldn't be able to see Carsland. (I could see some people not being aware that you need a park hopper, or more than a 1 day ticket, to see both parks, thinking that the whole thing is "Disneyland". After all, not everyone is as Disney-educated as most of the people around here :)

That's what I was thinking too, they maybe weren't planning on a park hopper.

Travel agents can be good for DL/WDW or be REALLY, REALLY bad and give out all sorts of false info. Not sure if he was given bad info. or as others said, got confused with not having a park hopper.

I would love to know what it is he bought!

Also daisy, in case you didn't know, your ticker is "broken". Seems the site you got it from is blocked from the dis, so there are a bunch of asterices where the name of the site should be.

Only "extra fee" for Carsland is admission to DCA.I am sure there are a lot of people who do not know a lot about Disneyland Resort, do not realize that that there are two parks. I mean for 45+ years all there was, was Disneyland (park).

I can see her ticker. But maybe she fixed it before I viewed? It's 8pm pacific time.

I bet you're right :)
