I will post a detailed description of my day later in the week, but for now I will say that I used 9 FastPasses today, and that I was able to get 3 new Fastpasses in a 40 minute window from 1:49-2:30 p.m., after I used up my first 3 FP+s.

1:49: FP for Barnstormer for 1:50-2:50. Immediately ride.

2:05: FP or Dumbo for 2:20-3:20. Ride at 2:15.

2:30: FP for Winnie the Pooh for 2:50-3:50.

I was skeptical of FP+ because I felt the old system gave me a competitive advantage. After today, I swear by the new system (at least in MK). Also, what the new system allows is the opportunity to stay in MK in the afternoon and be productive, which was almost impossible before.

Thanks for the news :). I am/was a superuser, so it's great to hear that I could (under the right circumstances) tour as efficiently as I used to.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your day.

Thanks for the report. Looking forward to the details. What were your other three FP's? Or did you mean to type 6 instead of 9?

How long did you have to wait at the kiosks to get those FPs?

It was actually TEN FPs:

Per-booked --

Space Mountain: 10:35-11:35
Peter Pan: 11:55-12:55
Anna and Elsa: 1:25-2:25

Extras:

1:49: FP for Barnstormer for 1:50-2:50. Immediately ride.

2:05: FP for Dumbo for 2:20-3:20. Ride at 2:15.

2:30: FP for Winnie the Pooh for 2:50-3:50. Ride at 3:00.

3:12: FP for Pirates of the Carribean for 3:20-4:20. Ride at 3:30.

3:50: FP for Jungle Cruise for 4:25-5:25. Ride at 4:40.

5:00: FP for Buzz Lightyear for 5:15-6:15. Ride at 5:10.

5:25: FP for Rapzunel and Cinderella for 9:20-10:20.

Kiosks lines were minimal except for the first extra FP at the kiosk near the castle, when the wait was probably 5-7 minutes. Character greeting FPs, except for Mickey, were gone at 1:45. Rapzunel, however, became available at 5:25, which is why I snapped it up, instead of continuing my Get-FP-Ride pattern.

I was hoping it wasn't a typo. It just keeps getting better!.

What were the standby lines line? Did you notice?

You are going to have to be prepared for a lot of questions here

Nice!

Could you do this all on your phone? Or did you have to go to a kiosk for each of them?

This is excellent news. I hated the restriction of only 3 fast passes with FP+. Happy to know that you were able to get more. Do you happen to remember whether or not there were still FPs available for the mountains when you were booking the other fast passes?

I am not a FP+ lover, but that is really great to hear. I am cautiously optimistic for our Sept trip.

I assume this is a typo. Or did it let you in 5 mins early? That'd be wild. It would also be interesting to see if Dumbo and Barnstormer are "off the grid" in the same manner as they were during the latter days of FP-.

This is an excellent study, and I fear an angry gaggle of nitpickers will be after you shortly ;)

Where are you staying? There has been some speculation that the system is discriminating and favoring high-paying guests.

Also, how many were in your party?

Let me try to answer the questions:

(1) Didn't try to add additional FP via phone.

(2) Staying at All-Star Music so definitely not high-paying.

(3) You can use FPs beginning 5 minutes before the printed times.

(4) Didn't try to get FPs for the mountains because we rode BTMR twice, Space Mountain twice, and Splash Mountain once before 10:45 a.m.

(5) Standby times for rides I got FPs for: Barnstormer (35 min), Dumbo (1 hour), Pooh (45 minutes), Pirates of Carribean (35 minutes), Jungle Cruise (35 minutes), Buzz (30 minutes), and Rapzunel (45 minutes).

There have been reports of FP+ letting people in five minutes early. Any earlier and you'll be holding up the line.

Sounds like this will work great for those of us who want FP+ for medium popularity rides in the afternoon and evening. Just what we wished we could do a month ago.

How many were you booking for -- just one or a group? I would love to know if everyone could see the same options, regardless of ticket and off-site/on-site resort. It will also be interesting to see if more people catch on and availability goes down faster in the afternoon, or this will remain a new way to have a huge advantage. (So much for FP+ leveling the playing field. :) )

That is great news, and also a little funny considering the amount of people who were rejoicing that FP+ stopped people from getting that many FP (even though anyone who got that many was apparently lying/sprinting all over the park).

How many people in your party? Just you?

I could see it working for one person, but what about with a family of 4 (or 5?)?

Perhaps that's the reason it was so easy?

That's great news, thanks for posting! I was also (as a previous poster stated) a super user of FP-, so this is very nice to hear! :goodvibes

Where you able to ride anything between most of the fastpasses? Obviously even if you didn't, not waiting in a line is better than waiting.

What worked for us is to combine non-FP character greetings with the extra FPs.

So we get a FP for Pooh at 2:30 for 2:55-3:55, wait in line to meet Minnie and Daisy, then ride Pooh right after.

We get a FP for Jungle Cruise at 3:50 for 4:25-5:25. We get ice cream, meet Tinkerbell across the street, then ride Jungle Cruise right after.
