Extra day vs. EMH

We are staying at the GCH from Wed Sept 26 to Oct 1. I plan on getting 5 day military park hoppers. We also have purchased tickets for MHP on Friday. I am thinking of starting our trip a day early and staying off site cheaply Monday and Tues night, so we could spend all day Tues Sept 25 in the parks and check into the GCH early Wed morning and not use our park hoppers on Friday since we 're going to the party in the evening. If I do this though, that only gives one EMH for DCA. I 'm assuming that I can 't add a day to the discounted military tickets so do you think an extra day is worth forgoing an EMH on Friday in DCA?

I would honestly take the extra day and use Friday morning as a sleep in/relax morning before the party at night. It's also pretty close to half way through your trip which is good timing.

If you check into GCH REALLY early on Wed, you are eligible for DCA EMH on that Wed.

Thanks for the input! I think we will do the extra day. Now to just watch for park hours to make sure we get to the GCH extra early for EMH... that is unless they change it again!
