EXTRA Day at Castaway Cay instead of Nassau?

I voted to keep Nassau, but really would prefer that DCL alternate between a 4 nite sailing with Nassau, and a sailing with 2 CC visits. That allows everyone the option of visiting a place they won't likely get a chance to again/for a while.

Re: the suggestions to try Freeport as an alternative--I was so thrilled when DCL stopped going there. My first DCL in 5/2002 was a 4 day with the Freeport Day instead of Day at Sea. Yuck! Nasty industrial port with a cheesy little artificial little "market" and other than that nothing as far as they eye can see.

I did not get off the ship in Dec 2002 at Freeport....really bad docking location - and there was the "Big Red Boat" we had cruised on as part of our Disney Land and Sea Package before there was a "DCL" - rusting away.....

BUT - we have visited Freeport with another cruise line and rather then dock in the "Industrial Wasteland" that DCL did - they anchored off of a lovely beach area and tendered the passengers to shore. You were able to walk to the casino/shopping bazaar area or just go to the beach. It sort of reminded me of being on the Magic in St Maarten - and taking the water taxi to the town beach.

I am 'leaning' toward doing a 3 night sometime next year....and will definitely try the public beach on Paridise Island. Good Tip! Thanks

At a tangent, I would like to see the Wonder and Magic try a different schedule for a time. Basically have ten day cruises and four day cruises. Each alternating Saturday the Magic and Wonder would depart on a ten day Caribbean trip to say St Lucia, Martinique, Jamaica etc., and the Western Mexico ports, then on the alternating Tuesday's a four day trip to Nassau and Casterway key.
So it would be
.1ST SATURDAY MAGIC EASTERN TEN DAY
.2ND SATURDAY WONDER WESTERN CARIBBEAN TEN DAY
.2ND TUESDAY MAGIC BAHAMAS FOR DAY
.3RD SATURDAY MAGIC EASTERN TEN DAY
.3RD TUESDAY WONDER BAHAMAS FOUR DAY

You could add the four day to any ten day making a fourteen day cruise if you wished on the same ship! This would open up more of the Caribbean and give a greater choice of trips, ports, and duration's.
