Extra Childs TS Credit Usage?

The way we have our meals planned we will end up with an extra
childs TS credit.
We are on the dining plus plan this upcoming Jan/Feb and we are doig one night without little man.. He will be at the Neverland Club.
So he will be missing a TS meal.
Does anyone know if this credit only be used on a TS meal for him. Even though it will stink wasting a childs TS credit on a dinky CS meal but I think its better than wasting it all together.

you should be able to trade the table service for a counter service...most successful reports have been at resort counter service.

Cool.. thanks I will try.. maybe I can sweet talk them into a normal CS meal instead of a kids.. since it is about equal to a kids TS..

well, you can try, but they usually just trade straight-up, one for one without regard to $$ value of the one meal to the other. You're definitely losing value trading down. I doubt they'd give you an adult meal for a kids' credit in this transaction, because the system does designate what type of credit you have left since they track kids vs. adult credits on the regular dining plan.

From my understanding, the card does NOT designate adult vs. child credits that remain.
Unless somethign changed in the last month? Every report that I've seen is that the card only shows remaining credits, nothing broken down by category.

I say go over to wolfgang puck express on the marketplace side and order what you want. They are really good about the dining plan and also have excellent food.
At the very worst, they will make a kid portion of any meal on the menu so you can actually have something pretty darn tasty besides chicken nuggets.

Table Service credits are absolutely broken down by adults and children - remaining credits are detailed and split at the bottom of each TS receipt.

The ability to use a Table Service credit for a counter service meal is, as catne indicates, much more likely at a resort than at a park or free-standing location.

Why not set up an ADR somewhere that has great appetizers and drinks, pay OOP for you and DH and let your little man order a meal? Many rave about milk shakes and onion rings at Sci Fi Diner and it makes a great mid-day break on a DHS day.
