Hi folks, this may be a strange one for first post but lets go with it!

Today my Disney 14 day ultimate tickets arrived I orderd 2 adult tickets for my upcoming trip in May.

Now when I opened the package to my suprise it also contained 2 child tickets as well!!!clearly states on back ages 3-9 14 day Ultimate. Before you say oh you have paid for 2 adult and 2 child by mistake I have double and triple checked and my invoice clearly states 2 adult 14 day ultimate tickets, the price also reflects this.

So basically I have 2 child tickets I do not need(no kids just dogs). Now after googling I can't get an answer on if I could sell these or not. I know when I go to use my tickets I will be finger printed and that prevents anyone using mine but the child ones can't be linked to that surely if they are not used?

So obviously if I can I would like to sell them on Ebay or maybe to friend of friend but I do not want to take money of people if the ticket does not work when they get to Disney!

Help/advice please.

If you did not pay for them, and they were not part of a "buy an adult pass get a child pass free" deal, why would you not return them? You don't want to take someone's money if they will not work, yet you want to take profit from Disney by not returning them?:confused3

I agree, just return them. Someone, somewhere must be opening their envelope and be short of their children's tickets.

Quite happy to take Disney's profit not worried about that at all.In fact it's not Disney's profit they have already been paid it's the tickets agency!

My point is I could sell them on and make some money and the person I am selling them too would get a bargain in turn. But whilst I do not care about Disney's profit I would not want to do some geniune buyer out of there own hard earned money.I understand some people may have a problem with that and I completely respect you're opinion, but I believe you should not look a gift horse in the mouth!

I think it is entirely your choice what you decide to do. You should not have a problem selling them on if thats your choice.

As a retailer if I send out the wrong order I fully accept it my mistake and not the fault of the recipient. If I sent an order for double the value I certainly would not expect them to return half, its my fault.

Is this any different to many of us getting Business class flights worth £1,700 for £470? or the time Expedia website was offering 2,3 or 4 weeks car rental for cost of only 1 week? numerous other deals we have all had over the years.
Only last week I took delivery of 45 rolls of Andrex for £10, Amazon error, should have been £22.45, rather than cancelling everyones very large orders they sent everyone 1 box of 45 because they know its good for business. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/and...s-total-45-rolls-pack-45-10-delivered-1132151
Retailers/agents accept these errors, they could cancel them if they wanted but they don't, its good business to take it on the chin.

So let's say that the tickets in the envelope you received belonged to a different family and that family received your two tickets. That other family calls the ticket agency and says they did not get their child's tickets, but the agency shows that they were mailed. Don't you think it would be better to at least call the agency and let them know what happened? Maybe they told the other family that there is nothing they can do unless someone calls and confirms a mistake was made. As a parent, I could NEVER keep and sell WDW tickets that I KNEW didn't belong to me. Call me crazy, but I have a conscience. To each his own, I guess.

Personally, I wouldn't even try to sell them on. Not only would I be uncomfortable with that but I expect the tickets will get cancelled once the ticket agency realises their mistake.
I would let them know - someone out there is probably missing those tickets.

I think it is up to you to decide. I should imagine that the tickets will be fine to use & if you make your buyer aware of how you have the tickets then the choice is also theirs. I doubt that the ticket company would want proof from someone else that they had not recieved part of their package/tickets. (if that's what happened).

Totally with you on that....
It wouldn't have even entered my mind not to ring them up and tell them there had been a mistake..but as you say each to his own..:confused3
