DH and I want to take my little bro (12) and sis (14) to WDW in early Dec. 2005. I know that's far away, but I am excited because Tony and Heide have ALWAYS wanted to go to WDW, and they never could go (parents couldn't afford it). Now that I am older, and DH and I can afford it, we want to surprise them.
I know that the Swan is less expensive than YC/BC (first choice-never been to any of them), and I wanted to know IF THEY CHARGE FOR GUESTS UNDER 18. Would the room be comfortable enough for 4 people? How much more are adjoining rooms there? (We are not really interested in the Dolphin, FYI.)

Any information that any of you can give will be appreciated.

The Swan hotel has the queen beds in the room and there is no extra charge for the two children. Just list them as children and you will have no trouble at check-in. Adjoining rooms would cost the same for the second room as the first room.

I don't know of any hotel that charges for children under 18. (unless of course there is some sort of package involved) :D

Hopefully you will be able to qualify for one of the discounts at the Swan.

The Swan is a great location and has very nice rooms. They have two queen beds in the standard rooms, but it's $25 for a rollaway. Are bro and sis okay about sharing a bed at their ages?? There is no charge for under 18 guests. The room should be plenty roomy for 4 people. You might want to check out the suites available. Of course, it will cost more. Swan does have some special rates. You can find them at Dreams Unlimited. There's a AAA rate and an Entertainment Book Card rate.

Thank you, swilphil! I'll look into your suggestions. I've never booked packages or used a travel agency for anything; I usually do it all myself. Does it save money in the long run to use a travel agency? I usually call the hotel directly and can get a rate better than what's offered on the internet (excluding WDW-owned resorts, of course). Thanks again for the advice!:wave2:
