extended monorail?

I was on a website a couple of days ago and it said that they were extending the track of the monorail to other places and building a new, larger TTC....anyone else heard this?

The extended monorail has been a rumor for years, most likely not to happen, with the costs involved and money constraints. Have not heard TTC talk.
