Extended late check out?

Anyone recently recieve a late check out time? Or request one and did not recieve it? How late? And when did you arrange it, at check in, day of check out? Which resort?

We got a 1PM checkout of the Contemporary on New Years Day. We requested it in the afternoon on NYE.

Once, when I had a late flight and was not feeling well, I called for a late check out. Our time was extended to 1pm. This was at POFQ, back in 97.

They should be able to give you a late checkout of 1:00 for free, if it's possible. We've requested it the day we checked out and didn't have any problems, but requesting it the day before couldn't hurt. If you're checking out on a day when a lot of people are expected to arrive, you may be out of luck, but they will try to be accomodating.

Thanks Kermit. We've always wished to do late check out, but didn't want to do it of there was a fee. Guess I should learn to just ask

Poly gave me 1:00 for free (asked day of checkout, availability depends on bookings). I think the charge is 50% of your rate if you want to stay after 1:00 but before 6:00p.
