Extended Hours when Park Hopping

We plan to hop to a different park than the one we start at, can we use extended hours at the park we hop to after 2:00 pm or does it have to be at the park we check in 1st.

It could be either. Just need to visit the park that you made a reservation for first. Then hop at 2 pm. Then either first or second park qualify. As long as you’re at a deluxe hotel and as long as the park that you plan to stay for the extended hours is listed on the calendar as offering it that night. This is my understanding but I will let others chime in.

There is only one park per night that offers EEH. You can attend the EEH at the park it is being offered at regardless of where your reservation was for. One night/week is MK. 1 night/week is Epcot.

For EMH can you enter a park after it "closes"? Say, if Epcot closes at 9PM on a night it has EMH, can you enter the park at 9:30 if you're a Deluxe guest with a valid park hopping ticket?

If the park has extended evening hours you technically won’t be there after it closes. It stays open longer for deluxe hotel guests.

Times for extended hours are listed on park hours calendar on Disney web site. And yes if you’re deluxe with a park hopper (or if you have a non park hopper ticket for the park that offers the extended hours that night) then you can stay as long as the park is open including the extension.

If calendar notes a park closes at 9 pm and there’s no extended hours listed for that night then you cannot enter after 9 pm.
