Extended hours vs event Ticket strategy question

Going in February 2023 Monday Tuesday Wednesday (staying OKW)
im looking for your advice. Should we get a regular ticket and take advantage of extended evening hours on Mon Wed? Or don’t buy regular ticket but buy after hours event ticket for Mon and Wed? Then Tuesday we will just go to the park we don’t already have plans for.

If it were me, I would probably go with the regular park tickets and take advantage of the extended evening hours. You will have a lot more time in the park that way, and much lower waits during the EEH. We have done the after hours events and loved them, but not all of the attractions are open and you only have a limited amount of time. If you go during regular hours and do the EEH, you should be able to get to all of the attractions that you'd like to do.

Since my of post, I purchased a regular ticket for Monday at Mk. Now I see they changed it to an after hours ticketed event. I think at the time I purchased my regular one there wasn’t a ticked event scheduled, or I thought it was on a different day. What should I do? Use my ticket for another park? Then buy event ticket? Or could I move my ticket to Tuesday (originally a non park day) and just do the after hours event?
