Extended Hours & Second Fantasmic

We are heading to Disney in late-Feb/early-March. I seem to remember last year there being two Fantasmics consistently throughout February and March. Seems this year there's only one.

So my question is two-fold:

I know they sometimes extend park hours and make other schedule changes around the 15th of this month if previous years hold true. If they extend park hours is there a possibility of moving Fantasmic from 7 to 8? Is there a possibility of adding a second Fantasmic along with extending hours or is the whole second Fantasmic officially done now that they have the Star Wars fireworks?

Any expectations I should have on extending park hours based on what's been going on the past few months?

Thanks!!

I can't answer the question, but I am also going in early March and am curious about the responses.

If park hours are extended, Fantasmic will still be at 7:00. If a 2nd Fant is added, it would be at 8:30.

Because of the SW projection/fireworks show, Fant scheduling hasn't been altered much.

Just my two cents, since I wondered the same thing prior to my December trip:

We went to DHS on a Friday night that got extended by 2 extra hours and had EMH on top of that. Based on 2015's park schedule, which had two Fantasmics for that same night (and actually every Friday night in December if I remember correctly), I fully expected us to get a second show.

And we didn't. I was floored.

So I wouldn't plan my evening around a second show being added.

For us, we unfortunately had to miss Fantasmic all together since we wanted to see Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM. Still had a great night, but it was a little disappointing that we couldn't do both. :(

Thanks for the replies! Sounds like a 2nd Fantasmic is out of the question. What I find interesting is they have no Star Wars scheduled from Feb 26th through all of March. Of course we arrive on the 26th. :) I'm hoping those get added soon and they're just holding off until they know what the crowds might be like.

I have a question related to this...
We will be at DHS March 27, 2017. Currently, there is only one Fantasmic showing, at 8:30pm, and we have a Fantasmic lunch reservation at Mama Melrose at 1:30pm (1st show).
If there might be extended park hours and a 7pm show added for that night, what happens to my 8:30 Fantasmic 1st show reservation when the current 8:30 1st show might turn into a 7pm 1st show?
Does that make sense? HaHa

It's not dark enough at 7pm in March to start F!

Ok, feeling a bit stupid! That makes total sense.
They might add a 10pm show and that would't change my plans at all.
Got it. :-)
