Extended Evening Hours Questions and Answers

We don't have much experience with the new Disney LL and boarding passes. I know generally how it works. We are there May 5-10. We will try to hit EEH in EP and MK as well as having an EP AH event scheduled.

How does it work for Tron and GotG during those events? I'm gathering we have to try at 6 pm to get in the virtual cue to ride during EEH. What about AH events? Feel free to point me to where it's explained too. Thanks!

Tron and Guardians are standby during AH

Hello, I'm looking for some opinions on EEH at HS on 9/25. We're staying at Wilderness Lodge 9/23-10/1 with 6 day park tickets (no park hoppers). We're only doing 1 day at HS on 9/25 and are excited to check out EEH from 9-11 that night. However, I see that Fantasmic is scheduled for 9:30 that night. We've never seen this show before. If we get in line for that show and stay to watch, we'll miss out on over an hour of EEH.
I'm surprised these are overlapping, but we're conflicted on what to do! We don't want to miss the show but also want to take advantage of EEH. Is Fantasmic worth missing a large portion of EEH? Is there any possibility the time of Fantasmic could change before 9/25 comes around? Or even a 2nd earlier show possibly?

Fantasmic is great! Is it an option to swap another day for DHS so that you can visit the park and also see Fantasmic! that night and then enjoy just the EEH on Sep 25th?

If not, you will have been in the park the full day already. What are you hoping to accomplish during EEH that you may not have done during the day?

Thanks for your reply! I think our days are somewhat locked in at this point as I have some "hard to get" reservations on other days, plus I had to work around the Halloween parties at MK. We're doing two MK days, two Epcot days, one AK and one HS (with a relaxing resort day in between!). We chose HS on 9/25 specifically so we could utilize EEH.
I think we just love the idea of a non-crowded park at night and having time to hit our favorite rides a few times if we can! But I think we'll probably still try to do Fantasmic and get out of there as quickly as we can and use that last hour before closing.
Thanks again!

Have been meaning to look for a thread about this as we have an upcoming trip with a few nights at Polynesian. Never done a deluxe before since all this type of stuff got put in place. So thanks to @Skurz97 for resurrecting this one 🙃

Do we have an idea of when I should be able to see what nights are available for 11/3-11/6? It looks like the current calendar ends on 9/28/24 so am I correct in the assumption you can see these about 60 days out?

If you check the app for park hours, you can see 70 days in advance.

Heading to WDW next month. Does anybody know if either Tiana’s Bayou Adventure or Country Bears Musical Jamboree will be open during EEH? I am assuming Tron will still be on a 6pm drop VQ, but please let me know if that is incorrect.

When do y'all think they will drop the next "batch" of dates for EEH? We will be there over thanksgiving, and I'm eagerly waiting those dates so I can make some plans.

Disney releases its hours around 75 days out, so you will have plenty of time to make plans.

Sometimes they adjust them after the fact, so be sure to check.

It will be interesting to see what is available with the parties going on

I understand that EEH is extended through 2025. Do we know if the same Monday/Wednesday schedule is staying for MK and Epcot. We are going in May. I assume it’ll stay those two parks since there’s no parties during that time.

ugh....been waiting, checking daily, as each day is added, for hours to be released for the first full week of October....and zilch for extended evenings on Wed and Thurs....the couple weeks prior in Sept, they were showing EE at HS on Wednesdays,...and last year had something similar. So that week, the only day w EE is Monday, for Epcot. I am very disappointed. Will spend some time thinking logistics this weekend, and get our HHN plans locked in. and maybe the WDW tickets figured out.

I suggest you keep checking, it's still far in the future. I don't recall any weeks with only one EEH.

Of course, you might get Epcot twice.

Have the 6 pm Virtual Queues for Tron and Guardians been lasting more than a few seconds or do they go pretty quick.

Hmm. There’s some consolation for my week in October. Just saw AK will have extended evening hours on the Friday, Oct 11. Yay, but probably means they really are not going to add anything for HS on Wed or Thurs.Hope to really get to finalizing some plans this weekend on which night we’re doing HHN at Universal. Wednesday is back to being an option….hadn’t really thought about MNSSHP for this year, but maybe….
Anyone have experience with AK extended hours?? Get a lot done?

I would suspect times will be extremely low for everything except Flight of Passage.

While After Hours are frequent at MK and Epcot, they are rare at AK, so you get to do something most people don't!

I have a question about exteded hours. I'm DVC and staying at Polynesian with 2 of my grandchildren. I also arranged for my 5 children and and two grandchildren to join us for a family celebration but they are staying at All Star. They are not elegible for extended hours. As long as they do not ride any rides, can they stay in the park with the rest of the group who is eligible to go on the rides and visit the stores and eateries?

I have never seen sweeps like for parties, so I suppose they would be fine to hang out, but it wouldn't be overly enjoyable after a bit IMO. Very few food options are open (very very few!) and many stores are closed, too. It's very ride focused.
