Extended Evening Hours on Check Out Day?

I did a search and I think the answer to this is "YES" but the replies were not recent so I'm checking to confirm if anyone has more recent experiences.
On Sunday April 5th, I will be staying on site for one night. I have a Moderate booked now. If I upgrade to a Deluxe, will I be able to utilize the Extended Evening Park Hours at Epcot on Monday April 6th? I will check out that day (and move to an off-site hotel near Disney Springs due to my husband's work conference). But, if I could take advantage of those park hours, it might be worth it?

Yes, you can. The only problem may be if the hours go past midnight. Your magic band or key card will turn green all day on the 6th. The only issue seems to be if the hours go past midnight, but I don’t anticipate that being the case for Epcot. Take a screen shot of your reservation just in case.

Worth it is always debatable. I’ve read reviews of long waits for guardians or Remy but haven’t followed current trends. Remember regular guests can get in line right up to closing. Maybe check for some recent reviews for wait times. Not sure how many would be in your party, but booking lightning lanes might be more cost effective than paying for a deluxe of your group is small.
