Express versus regular line at Xmas?

Hi, hoping to ask:

We're staying on site arriving tomorrow, and looking forward to using express for those rides that use it. I know it's not a miracle pass, and we'll still have a wait, but I was wondering realistically how do the express wait times compare to regular?

Also, was wondering how early entry Harry potter wait times compare to regular hours?

Thanks in advance!

On most attractions, the standby lines will reach 90 minutes or more as opposed to Express which could be as long as 20-30 minutes depending on the attraction. Forbidden Journey will reach two hours pretty quickly but the other two attractions will be manageable with Express. At the Studios...The Rockit will reach two hours but the others shouldn't be an issue with Express.

Just got back on Tuesday. The parks were very crowded by the time we left. Express pass is the way to go. Go to the WWOHP early entry and you will be fine take the advice of others--if you want to go to Olivanders do it first and then ride Forbidden Journey. You can express pass the roller coasters. We did not do Olivanders as my kids were more interested in maximum ride time and did not want to wait in the Olivander's line.

WWOPHP will fill up fast after regular park opening so do that first. (Worked for us) Wait times with express pass were not bad at all last weekend. We had plenty of time to do what we wanted thanks to express pass.

Great info, thanks! What would you say was your wait time during early entry for hp? We do not want to do ollivanders (at least I don't) as it's just a vehicle to sell $30 wands in my opinion.

We walked on to the Forbidden Journey. The park opened about 15 minutes before announced opening and we headed straight for WWOHP and once there "took it all in" stopping for a few pictures at Hogwart's Express and then hurrying to Forbidden Journey. We didn't have enough time to really see everything in the castle the first time we rode it as the line was steadily moving straight to the ride.

WWOHP did begin to fill up by the time we rode Forbidden Journey and Dragon's Challenge and the Flight of the Hippogriff (express pass ride) and took some time for a Butterbeer at Three Broomsticks and visit to Zonkos and Honeydukes and the other shop-can't remember the name right off-where Harry buys his books. But WWOHP was very manageable in the a.m.

We went back on Monday night and had a 1 1/2 hour wait and had some time to see what we missed inside the castle. The rest of Hogsmead was quite busy.
