Hey guys! Anyone know if you can buy Quick Queue tickets when we get to Seaworld?? I know the parks are supposed to be less crowded in Oct so didn't want to preorder them in case we got them and the queues weren't that long anyway. My son can't stand in lines for too long due to his Autistic tendencies (although he's not as bad as some children are with it) and I'm not keen on the "Fastpass" style system where they give you a return time. I know he'll be ok to wait 10 possibly 15 mins but that will DEFINITELY be his limit. The latter end of the holiday will be when he REALLY won't be able to stand for long as he will be frustrated at seeing queues all the time. He doesn't have much understanding of stuff like that. His frustration gets worse as time goes on. Thanks in advance! :)

It's a tough call, we bought express passes at Universal and never had to use them. Our daughter is autistic and we found that the FP system worked well with her. She responds well the predictability of them. She likes to know at x time is when she rides Toy Story Mania etc. In my experience October isn't low crowds but it is lower than some other times of the year. If you are concerned that he will not be able to wait 15 minutes, I would probably go with the side of caution and buy the passes.

With SeaWorld as long as the quick queue are not sold out you can buy them on the day. However I would check if they are going to be worth it before you buy them as I believe they are mainly for the rides.

There is nothing you can do for the shows except have something to entertain him while you are waiting - you will be sitting in the stadiums so its not as bad as a line.

I went to SeaWorld last October and it was very quiet mid-week. Pretty much everything was a walk on. I honestly think the only thing we q-ed for was the carousel. Everything else by the time we walked through the q there was no one waiting.

Thanks! That's FAB info. The thing with my son is only certain things have to be done in routine (sequential eating, way we get him dressed, way he cleans his hands) but he tends to be more noises distress him if he doesn't know it's coming so I've sat with him watching all the rides on YouTube and we spend a good deal of time talking about the different parks at Florida. It keeps his dream alive. He still doesn't have a clue we're going though! :D He also has no sense of personal space and doesn't register/understand emotions. Hence standing in queues for a great length of time isn't likely to be the best but I know if it's something he wants more than anything he will queue for up to 15 mins if there's a bit of space between him and the person in front.

We did the same things with our daughter, we even printed the seat plan from the plane and showed her where her seat was. She actually waited patiently for all of the rides and when it was a little crowded we "made" space for her by leaving gaps and putting our arms across so she was in "her space". A lot of the time they are so wrapped up in what they are about to experience they don't get as stressed as they usually would waiting. This is a REALLY helpful website too.

Yeah, I'm SO glad I found this site! To all ALL the people who have offered FAB info & advice to me since I've been on here, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :D
