Are the express passes plus worth the extra money?? I am going in July and the cost is an additional $40/pp per day....that's alot of money....about the same as the tickets themselves. Is it worth it? :confused3

It depends on:

How much is it worth to you to not have to stand in a line when it is 90+ humid degrees out? (We live in Colorado where there is no humidity, so FOTL is priceless to us :) )
and
How many people are buying them? For instance - if you are a family of 4 and buy the 2 park express passes for $50.00 each - that is $200.00. For that price, you may want to see if getting a room for the night that will give you unlimited FOTL in 2 parks for 2 days is a better option for your situation.
and
Do you like touring on a plan, or what is it worth to you to be spontaneous? You can do the parks easily with a good touring plan - getting there early, getting on the most popular rides first, etc. But if you are somebody that likes to just say - "hey, let's ride this as you pass it by," then perhaps the Express Pass or FOTL are worth the extra investment.

It all depends on what is important to you and how much are you willing to pay for convenience.

If it's worth $40.00pp to ANYONE then we know why USO is offering this and chose to discontinue the free EP. :sad2:

You got that right!

I haven't paid too much attention to what's been going on at Universal as we've been going to Disney. Plan to go to Universal this trip and just saw that they discontinued EP??!! Tell me it isn't so!

It IS so.....and from what I have read - unless you get there right at open you (we) will be standing on lines that are an hour or more long watching the people with EP and FOTL walk up and get right on the ride (over and over in the case of FOTL).
