My aunt & I will be visiting IOA & US Monday, Jan 6 and plan on riding all the thrill rides, starting with the Forbidden Journey. Based on the time of year, do you think it is worth it to pay for the Express Passes? :confused3 It has been years since either of us have been to these parks so any other tips you might have would be appreciated!

Thanks!

FJ does not have an express line but does have a single rider line.

I would probably say no based on the fact you will only be riding thrill rides, it's a Monday, and it's after the holidays. You should be fine

It CAN be worth it, but only durring busy times. If the crowds are low, it will be a waste of money. I got one once when I was there for a short day thinking I wanted to get everything in. The park was dead and the regular lines were practically walk-ons (this was at US Hollywood, but i have seen Orlando the same way). The only benefit was priority seating for shows.

You can always wait until you get there and IF it is busy, buy it from the ticket window. I did find the Express Pass I bought for Halloween horror Nights one year was WELL worth it (but it was SUPER crowded!), but that day in the park beforehand was light, and it wouldn't have been.

Thanks for all your responses! I knew the Forbidden Journey didn't have EP. Is the single rider line different than the normal line or do you see the same things along the queue?

I think otherwise we will just decide if we want to get it based on the crowds that day. No need in spending the money if we don't need to!

the srl in fj bypasses some of the sights inside the castle.
you would miss them by using the srl.
