Hey,

I just bought my express passes.... planning universal Studios on the 25th of June and IOA on the 26th of June!

How long am i going to have to wait with the express pass... and are they worth it?

They are sooooooooo worth it!!!
When you ride a ride 2-3 times in a row and you pass the same people
waiting in the regular line who still haven't gotten on :cool1:
It's worth it, although, be prepared for some dirty looks :rotfl:

Express pass only allows you one ride per ride.

If you stay onsite, you are allowed unlimited express line access.

I think it depends on when you go how many times they let you on. I know the one time I got express pass I went on rides like Jaws and MIB several times in row with my pass (in fact the same person was working the return line on them) so I think it may be who is working it and also when you go. When i went the parks were also very very slow.

EDIT: Disregard that as I just read about them scanning tickets now, they didn't scan tickets back in November when I last went.

Oh sorry, that what I was thinking of, my bad
We always stay on site and I thought that was what they were refering to

The only flaw is the dueling dragons. Its not really a express entry ride. Yes, the walk is shorter, but you merge with the regular line (get ready for the dirty looks, etc.), then you have to wait to board with the regular line. Maybe in the summer they do it differently? Could never do the theme parks without the express pass, that why when we go we stay onsite!!!!

No...no change in the way DD handles Express. I think the reasoning is...you can pick whichever row you want to sit in instead of being assigned a row. I usually head for the second row and if I'm alone, they will often need a single rider for the front row.

The Dragon Express Line used to go up the exit, through a side door right next to the Ice Child Swap Room. That would get very confusing with Ice exiting right there, and people would go up the normal line thinking Express is up there, and get mad because they couldn't find it.

What they have for Dragons now is basically the best they can get. Remember when the park was built, the queue lines were not thought to have an Express Line. Now the new attractions are being built with one, instead of having to figure out how to make one from an existing line.
