Express pass question

Our family will be at Universal during the week of May 13th. We have tickets for 4 days beginning May 15th. With 4 day passes do you think express is needed?

I think you can do without having express on most longer trips, especially if you don't mind using single rider lines at times. Obviously you will get on more rides with it, but it isn't a necessity.

Download the Universal App for wait times. Good rides to hit early are Minions and Kong - those don't have single riders and tend to build consistently long waits.

I do have the Universal App and have been checking regularly. I tend to look at later in the day when wait times are higher. We are staying at Cabana Bay so we can get in early which will help hopefully. Thanks for the tips

Can the express pass be used on the Harry Potter rides?

You can use express passes on Forbidden Journey, Escape from Gringott's, and Flight of Hippogriff. I do not think they have said if express will be available on the new ride yet.
