Express Pass question

We plan to check in, get on-site-guest express passes and hit the parks as quickly as possible on Day 1. All but one of us will have tickets-in-hand at check-in. The last person, however, has to pick up a ticket at guest services at the parks. Can this last person get her express pass at guest services -- or does she have to go back to the RPR for that?

when you stay at one of the 3 onsite hotels, your hotel room key and kiosk photo id is all that is needed for using the express lines in the park.

you do need park tickets to enter the park but only need the hotel key and hotel photo id to use the express lines.

all in the check in party will receive the hotel room card.

I have AAA voucher for tickets. I plan on checking us in to get the express passes first thing but can I get the tickets at RPH or do I need to get them at the park?

i know some tickets can be picked up at rph concierge desk in the lobby.
not sure about the AAA vouchers.
did your AAA agent give you any info when you recieved the vouchers?


try calling the hotel and ask to speak to the concierge desk.

Hey thank you for responding!! AAA said when they gave me the vouchers that there would be kiosks at the park but it looked like maybe with the new express machines they would also spit out tickets. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

It all depends on what AAA gave you. If it actually says the word "kiosk" on your tickets, you can go directly to the kiosks which are located behind the ticket booths.

Yes it says kiosk and gives me a number to put in. I booked the Royal Pacific through Expedia for Sunday night ($100 off first booking if you open credit card with them)r and then the SHeraton 4 points and tickets through AAA for Monday night. AAA assures me that I can get my tickets whenever so I plan on checking in to RP first thing on Sunday to get express passes but then I guess I will have to do the kiosk thing over at the park and the kiosk spits out our meal deal vouchers too, I think. I bought the meal deal before reading the boards! Oh well, we are going to use them for Universal Studios but don't have them for IOA because we want to do 3 Broomsticks for lunch and maybe dinner too.

Oh and I am supposed to get two mugs with AAA that are refillable for 89 cents. But where am I to put the mugs when going on the rollercoasters? I plan on having a waist pack so I don't need the lockers but I guess that won't work if I have the mugs.

using the kiosk at the park area is not bad.
would it be easier to pick up your park tickets at the AAA office?

i'm not familiar with aaa and the mugs.
is aaa having a promo for the mugs when you purchase tickets thru them?

many of the rides are hands free.
you'll have to use the lockers

Could you tell us more about the aaa promo with the mugs? I haven't heard about this and I will be booking my room and tickets with aaa soon
