You can only purchase them a month in advance as they only set the price based on the anticipated crowds.
If your date is further than one month in the future, it won't show the express pass plus option when you purchase the tickets.
Go to: http://www.univacations.com/
Click on "tickets only" then enter your dates and number in party. Then click search.
When it takes you to the next page. scroll down to where it says:
Departure Date: Nights:
Use the GO button to Book Your Tickets Now!
Enter the date and number of nights and click "Go." It should then take you to a page that has the Universal and Islands of Adventure Express plus pass along with tickets. That says: Option Price Guide
Universal Express Plus-Islands of Adventure $XX.xx (this will be the price not x)
Universal Express Plus-Universal Studios Florida $XX.xx
Included features and/or taxes:
Handling Fee 2.00
Do NOT purchase express unless you know the exact date you need them as they are dated and only good for the date on the pass.
I wonder if I can get an employee discoutn for this. I know I can for the regular park pass. $37 seems like A LOT of money for this option, and only able to ride once.
I'll be able to get the express plus for both parks for only $26.63 per person. Now I need to decide if we want to go on a Saturday or a Monday. I also need to find info about the 1day 2 park pass.
You can purchase them online even if you already have admission purchased. We have Power Passes but I bought them last week for our trip this past weekend. In huge crowds they are wonderful..we never waited more than 15 minutes for anything on saturday and both parks were packed all day long...
Do you work for Universal? My son said he didn't think Universal employees could get a discount for express pass plus but that he would find out tomorrow.

Yup, I do.
When my boyfriend, who also works for Universal, went to the park in LA, not only did they get a discount to the park, they got FOTL for free. But I hear the Orlando park is much different.
