Express pass needed for 2 days mid week in July?

My wife and I are thinking about spending a couple of days at US around mid to late July. We like Cabana Bay, but saw that Express Pass isn't included with that hotel. Is it worth it to buy it separately? We'd probably travel down mid week so the prices are cheaper, and hopefully a little less crowded.

Honestly, I'd never again do the parks without EP. I wholeheartedly believe they're worth the price (either the price of buying them outright or the price of the onsite deluxe hotel). For me, the increased cost is WELL worth the convenience. I do NOT want to spend hours (literally HOURS!) standing in line.

JMO. :-)

It will be heaving!!

If you can look at the 3 onsite deluxe with EP included it may work out better for you to stay there instead of buying it separately.

A one night stay at the deluxe hotels will give you 2 full days of EP.....check in and check out day.

July is busy..I wouldn't want to go without express pass and wait in lines in the heat ..Nope..No way

Another vote for getting express pass or staying at a hotel that includes it. I would never go without it, especially during the summer.

If we stay at the Holiday Inn, we can actually save close to $500 and have the unlimited express pass. Now being so small compared to Disney, are there any real benefits of staying on property vs off site?

You will get early admission to both parks in July.
