I first wanted to say that I have found this board very informative, and helpful. We'll be going to Universal/IOA for the 2 day/third day free beginning on August 6th. I have a few questions.

Is the free express pass available for Hulk? I have read yes in one post and no in another, that only single rider line is available for Hulk.

We will be going to Islands of Adventure the first night around 5p.m. I thought it would be good to start with Toon Lagoon, then Jurassic Park and if time permits the Lost Continent. Is this a good idea or can someone suggest a better place to start in the early evening? Bright and early the next morning we plan on tackling Marvel Super Hero Island and the more crowded rides.

By 5pm will most free express passes run out or does it just depend on a particular ride?

thank you!

You don't say where you are staying. If you are staying onsite, you already have express access. If not, you might want to consider buying the new "express pass booklets". There are several threads on this board about them. From what I've been reading, it sounds like the free express passes run out early.

We're going in Sept. and we bought the Kodak cameras with the express pass vouchers in them. There are five attractions in each park that have passes with this, and the Hulk is one of them. The camera only cost $9 and the express pass booklet online at US is $20!!! So, for the cost of the camera, we got the book and the camera!!! You might want to check into it.

Just a word of caution. Unless you bring a change of clothing, if you start with toon lagoon, you will be soaking wet. I mean drenched.

Thank you, I was thinking of bringing a change of clothing.

Now I'm second guessing myself if we should start with Toon Lagoon because I'm wondering if most people will be doing the back part of the park in the afternoon. I'm going on the assumption most people coming into the park start either at Marvel or at Seuu Landing and work their way around to the back of the park.

Do you think I am better off starting at Seuss Landing in the late afternoon/early evening? Would like to hear people's ideas on this. Starting in front of park or back? nina

I don't think you have to be militant and work around in a certain pattern. I found the USO/IOA parks to be much smaller. We did the more popular rides in the early mornings and later in the evenings, when the lines were longer and concentrated on lines with smaller lines during the peak part of the day or the shows. We did do a little extra walking this way but we spent alot less time waiting in lines.
