Express Pass for a Group

Hi! I was just wondering if someone could explain something to me about the Express Pass (the one you can use with a one day ticket from the booths around US). I understand that you scan your ticket and choose an available time slot. My question is does each member in your party need to do this or is one Express Pass valid for your whole group? How is group size regulated with this type of pass? Also, how does it apply to an Express Pass Plus...is that purchased on a per person basis or for the entire group? Thanks!
