Express pass at VB no more - Why?

Does anyone know why volcano bay stopped issuing express passes?

I was hoping to get one when we go in November and hoping it may be a temporary thing but someone may know if it's a permanent thing and why.

I'd imagine its because it really screws up the virtual queue system to have to account for pass holders to just show up. I think the whole park will work better for everyone if they never offer express passes.

I would imagine it's because they can't even iron out the glitches with Tapu Tapu as it is, without adding in Express Passes! A virtual queue, that was an insane idea in the first place if all you can do is be in one queue at a time.

It's possible that it could be added back by the time your trip comes around. However, right now, anything and everything makes the queues long. We bought it before it was stopped for our late July trip. We had it opening weekend too. It's definitely not as useful as EP at the other parks, but I guess it's better than nothing. Anyway, you might not need it in November. I am betting that the crowds won't be horrific then.
