Express Check-In at FW

I have read a post or 2 about express check-in at fw. We have been there a few times, but have never heard or seen anything about this. The better half look and didn't see anything on the site. Any help will be greatly appreciated. BTW we are brand new here. Our first post. Hope I did it in the right context. Thanx in advance.

I used Express Check In my last stay. When I got my paperwork in the mail about a week before the trip, I registered on Disney's site. You go ahead and give them the credit card you want to charge to while you are there and some other info and you're done.
All it really does for the Fort is your paperwork is already done when you get to the check-in line. I know I had to still show my ID and I seem to remember showing my credit card too. Not sure it really made anything any faster, it really doesn't change a whole lot of the process. I've been so many times they don't have to do the whole spiel for me.

Thanks for that info. I had read that sometimes it doesn't make much of a difference in time saved. We are arriving next Wed. (3/3) and hopefully not much traffic that time of the day and week.

Yoo funny and thanks for the welcome. Been Disneyers for a while now just had never heard of this forum till I started trying to find a non disney cart rental and Kenny at tee time really got me hooked up. All the good things I heard about him and his cart company are definitely true. Once again thanks for the welcome and looking forward to many other threads.

We used "Express check in" and we still sat at the gate for about 10 minutes on Monday and there was only 4 units checking in. There isn't a special line. It wasn't any faster once we got to check in booth then when we were here in August and didn't use it. IMHO it all depends on which CM you get when you get to the booth.

We used express check in one time, and it was really no big time saver. It might be easy on the front desk cast members - but nothing special for the guest.

Glad to have you with us. If you choose to stick around, be prepared to do a lot of nonsensical talking about beer, kungaloosh, and fishin'!!

We used express check in last time. It may have saved a few minutes on the front end...but after I got to the camp site I realized that some things were wrong so I had to go back up to the front desk, wait in line, and get it all resolved. So...not really a time saver at all in the long run.

Having said that....I used it at Caribbean Beach one time with no issues and it did seem to make the whole process go a little faster. I guess it really just depends on you takes care of you.
