Hi everyone! I'm writing this from the Megabus, just outside Amiens. We should be in Paris in around an hour - I've been really impressed (pleasantly surprised!) by the Megabus, I'll write more about it in my TR when we get back.
So, from Port Maillot coach station we plan to get a taxi to Gare de Lyon (we've got two seriously heavy cases), then the train to Marne la vallee and free shuttle to Explorers.
My question is, is it really just a 25 minute walk to the village from explorers? (we are fast walkers) if it's doable and pleasant enough, is it easy to find? And if not can anyone help out with directions?
Thanks!!

you're probably already there, but honestly, the shuttle to the Explorers is fine - jump on it and you'll be there in no time :).

Thanks for your reply! We got the shuttle but between waiting, driving past the other hotels etc, it probably took longer. Yesterday morning we walked from explorers to Cheyenne with our cases and it was fine, around 25 mins, if anyone is interested :)
Quick update on our trip while I have free wifi in Starbucks, we are of course having a great time! My cousin (newbie) loves it. Two fantastic dinners in King Ludwigs (a first for us) and Blue Lagoon. Best thing of all - there seem to be characters everywhere! Total contrast with our previous trip. With little to no effort we've net goofy, Suzy and perla, and Gideon. Also saw all the Alice in wonderland characters including Alice, by the labyrinth, Pinocchio and geppeto, and Minnie during Emh outside mickeys house.
Rides and dreams all in great order except crush being down this morning AGAIN.
Today we are heading to Paris for the day. Tomorrow is Janice's birthday and we'll have the whole day at DLP with dinner at cafe mickey.
Oh and the weather has been amazing, glorious sunshine with a small breeze :)

Yay we get there in 26 hours (not counting or anything lol) great to hear about the characters and the weather, makes me even more super excited. Enjoy paris today, might see you tomorrow :wave2: xxx

Great news about the characters and the weather Lola. <Wistful sigh>, September really is my favourite time to go to DLRP - it's just perfect - good weather, small queues (if any), plenty of characters - just a shame we can't go at that time anymore due to school!

Enjoy Paris and then your time at DLRP and Cafe Mickey (hope you are doing a bday cake for your Cousin :goodvibes).

Hope to hear more soon! :thumbsup2
