This may be more common than I realise, but there appears to be some good advanced booking savings on at the moment. It's coming up with 30% discount over the summer, and 41% over Christmas.

Which website is this for? Thanks

They often have really good discounts on their site, from my experience the earlier in advance you are the better. Back in 2011 we had as good as 55% :thumbsup2 and even better it was on a deal that we were able to cancel without penalty (up to something like 24 hours before) so we were able to do this when a good deal for Disney came out. If it hadn't we'd have been perfectly content to stay at the Explorers as you can see from my signature!

Hmm - I just ran a quick quote for 3 nights midweek in late November - its coming up with a 50% discount and is still over 300 euros :rolleyes2. Which is about £100 more for that time of year compared with the kind of price I'd be looking for on the likes of travelrepublic etc for the associated hotels.

eta - yep, just checked travelrepublic, same dates etc is £256 on there for the Explorers (and the Hi Park Serris is £140 lol).

Interesting... 2 nights in July for is £251.33 (30% off), and same 2 nights are £360 via travelrepublic.....perhaps the better details are on larger rooms?

£100 + per night is still reasonable for us as we're booking a room for 5/6 people.

lol, I got that totally wrong!

Although I put 2 adults & 4 children into the search, the results still give you quotes for smaller rooms/less people....a 6 birth room is actually £395.56 for 2 nights (25% off) :scared1:

In that case, travelrepublic is coming in a little cheaper at £360.

Back to the drawing board....

And I forgot to say that the 55% was for a suite which actually came out cheaper than a crew room for 6 which we normally stayed in being a family of 5.
