Explain the Disney connection? Is there one?

I saw a blue van today on the road. It had white bats ( the animal ) painted all over it. On the sides, where bats were not painted, in the Disney font, was written " "I love Disney!"

OK, I know I am not the biggest Disney fan, but I have no idea what the connection would be. Any ideas?

If you were closer to the west coast, I would think they are part of the Goth crowd who celebrates "Bats Day in the Fun Park" (aka Goth Day) at DisneyLand??
