Explain the bus system at CBR to me, please?!

Is there an internal bus system that ONLY stays in the resort (to each village plus the OPR, etc) AND a separate bus that ONLY goes to the parks? Or is it the same bus?

Trying to figure out if the parks bus goes to ALL of the villages' bus stops before leaving for the park, or if it has one stop at OPR (or somewhere else?) ONLY to pick everyone up?

Sorry if I'm being dense, but I couldn't find anything definitive anywhere. Thanks much! Trying to decide between POP and CBR, and this is our deciding factor.

I'm not one of the CBR pro's, having only stayed there once, but yes, the bus does stop at each one. I think that's one of the common complaints about that particular resort (busses in general, like them being more crowded and stuff because of the resort size). We were there for a week during Jan/Feb and didn't find it to be too bad, actually.

Depending where you are and the loading and unloading of ECVs it can take a long time to leave the resort. It was usually around 20 minutes for us.

Now to decide if the other perks of staying there can help us overlook that. Bigger bed & better pool but longer bus wait?! Hmm.

Buses to the parks stop at all the islands and OPR, unless one fills early in which case they'll radio for another. We've never felt like the buses at CBR were particularly slow, but maybe we just aren't usually in a huge rush.

There is also an internal only bus. It also stops at each island and OPR, and this is the only way to get to the Customs House (check-in). But unless you get off at another island, you cannot get to the parks from the Customs House. So don't take the internal bus if you are headed to the parks.

Thank you! We've stayed at ASMusic and POP, and only had an issue with a long bus wait once. We also like the short walk to the buses and worry about that at CBR. Decision, decisions!

We have stayed at CBR several times and have never had an issue with busses. The walk to the closest bus stop isn't that far and it only takes a while at the other villages if there are multiple ECVs and wheelchairs. When we stayed at WL the bus also went to Fort Wilderness so it still took extra time.
