I bet some of you have experiences with drinking pretty old orange juice. It expired on January 14, but I didn't realize that until after I drank a bunch of it. I didn't taste bad or smell bad. It has "some" pulp, if that matters. Am I in for a rough night?

My in-laws drink or eat stuff like that all the time -and they never seem to get sick.

I think you will be just fine.

Those dates are really just "sell by" dates... usually good until well after that date.

You might get an acidic stomach but I'm sure you'll be fine.

Why does *everything* happen to *me*?!:sad2:

So sorry! :flower3:

If it makes you feel any better I had to come to the library to use the computer because ds broke the power cord on the laptop. So I'm sitting here typing to my PEEPs and WHAM total blackout for atleast 15 seconds. All of the power in the library went out! When we finally were able to get back on the system kicked us out after 10 mins. :headache: I'm back on though! :thumbsup2

The worst case scenario is a case of the poops. Some people eat massive amounts of prunes just to get a good case of the poops so consider yourself lucky.

You could always eat a bunch of bananas to offset the potential side effects.

Yes, you can counteract this with large amounts of cheese.

If you think drinking expired OJ is bad, let me tell you what DD2 did. A couple of monthes ago I gave her a sippy cup of milk. She decided to keep it cold by putting it in the refrigerator - THAT'S HER KITCHEN REFRIGERATOR NOT THE REAL ONE (can you guess where this is going?) !!! I forgot about the milk and a couple of days passed. She decided she needed something to drink and remembered her milk. *still get a slight gag thinking about it* She takes a sip and spits it out, chunky and all *gulp, gag, heave*, our entire downstairs smelled like soured milk. I immediately made her drink tons of water.

...Anyway, back to topic, at least it wasn't old, chunky milk.:)

I am a firm believer that alcohol kills germs, so I'd be downing some wine (a recent study showed red wine killed salmonella) or vodka. :cool1:
