Expired JCP coupon?

I know that kohls takes expired kohls cash, and BB and B takes expired coupons, but what about JCP? I got a $10 off of $10 purchase coupon in the mail, and I missed the date. It expired 11/7. Has anyone found that they will let you use it after the date? I feel like I threw away $10...

I was there today and they wouldn't take mine in girls but they did give me a scratch off one for 15 20 or 30% at the register. I got 20% so not bad but my mom got both in the womens dept. I guess it depended on the salesperson.

I have worked at Penney's for almost 20 years, and they are starting to get really strict with coupon usage rules. I"ve lost track of how many times I've been yelled at by customers because I can't take an expired coupon or combine three or four coupons together.
