We've been to Disney so many times during the off season, that I really didn't have to do too much detailed planning (well, not too detailed to all my Dis friends, the rest of the world would think I was bordering on obesessive attention to detail...lol). However, with this being our first trip during high season and all the new EMH info, I really feel like I need help with our upcoming trip.

Here is the background info...it will me DH (turning 40 shortly before we leave), DS (will turn 6 shortly after we return, DS (2) and me. We will celebrate both DH and DS b-days while we are there. We are all big Star Wars fans, so we will definately want to spend alot of time at MGM. We will be staying at ASMovies for the first two nights and BWV the last five nights (our first trip as DVC owners...hooray)!!!

The following is my first attempt at an itinerary. The only thing is I don't really have a day for AK (which we usually enjoy). Also, most days we will go back to the resort for a break. I would appreciate any help, comments or info you can provide!!!

Saturday - Arrive at ASMovies around 2pm. Relax. Dinner at Chef Mickey.

Sunday - MGM for Star Wars events. Dinner at 'Ohana (possibly go to MK)

Monday - Breakfast at Fresh. Disney Quest. MGM (Fantasmic! pkg at MM)

Tuesday - Magic Kingdom (Lunch at CRT). Either Epcot or MK at night.

Wednesday - Blizzard Beach. Dinner at YSH and then Epcot.

Thursday - Breakfast at Crystal Palace and spend am in MK. MK in evening.

Friday - MGM for more Star Wars (or possibly Epcot or AK). Spoodles for dinner then Epcot.

Saturday - MGM for more Star Wars or Epcot). Late lunch at Beaches and Cream. Return Flight at 6:35pm.

Again, any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks so much!!!

I think Tuesdays and Thursdays are great days for MK. In fact I think you picked very good days for each park.
I can't speak on anything about the star Wars events etc... since I have never been at this time.
I also think it was great that you put a non park day on wed and then epcot in the evening.

It looks like you left things open depending on what you all want to do which is always a good idea. I think it looks very good!! :cool1:

It looks like you have picked good days for the parks but personally I think it is way to much MGM for the little ones. I'm not sure how much Star Wars stuff there is there but I don't think I would want to go 3 days. We will be there at the same time and DH is also a big Star Wars fan. He said he would like to go for one day.

Friday would be a great day to put in AK. Of course we would never miss it because it is one of our favorite parks.

Have fun,
Lori

My boyfriend and I were at MGM for the Star Wars Weekend last May and will be there again the same time this year. I didn't notice a larger crowd. I asked a CM if it seems busier this year because of the celebration and they said no. They've only been tied up on the phones because of people making reservations for the summer, which are up from last year by 15%. May seems like a good time to go. ::MickeyMo

Thanks for your replies. I agree it seems like alot of MGM, but we always seem to spend alot of time there...Star Tours (like 5 times in a row), Al's Toy Barn, Playhouse Disney, the new stunt show looks cool and all the characters. However, I am hoping to eliminate one of the MGM days to do AK or Epcot.

Thanks again for your comments!!!
