i have no luck with reg cameras so i use the disposable ones they take good enough pics for me....i always see the warning signs at the airport for xray damage is this true i usually keep film in carry on and the cameras are 800 speed the lower speed 400 is hard to find what can i do to prevent damage to those one time photos .

Just ask them to hand-inspect any film/disposable cameras that you have. That's what the TSA recommends and the worst you might get is a little grumbling, but they will do it - I had all mine hand-inspected last month.

I carry my film in an xray proof bag. I offer it with the cameras for hand inspections with my bag. Haven't had a problem.

Oh except the time that I handed my camera over for inspection and then said "It's loaded" followed by "with film! camera has film in it!!!!":scared1:
